The principal of this institution (Madam Dr. Sable) is indeed a role model. She personifies knowledge, simplicity, discipline and humility. This is the place where potential of each student is identified and nurtured. It was this spirit of the institution that I could achieve a merit rank in the B.Ed. examination conducted by University of Mumbai that too in the first year of the institution (2005-2006). It was the confidence instilled by my teachers in my potential that I went on to pursue post-graduation in Education and secured a gold medal. Today I am successfully working as a Teacher Educator in one of the premier Institute of Teacher Education in Mumbai. I owe my success to my alma mater. MCT College of education has been one of the important milestones in my life. This institution had given me one of the most important person in my life Dr. Savita Sable. This intuition also had given me another mentor Prof. Yadav. Both my teachers have been instrumental in a big way in shaping my career and also in personal development. I also have met many friends who have been a life long companion. Professional development especially in classroom teaching was polished in a big way during the ten month duration of the BEd course. I wish to express my gratitude to the teaching and non- teaching staff of the college.
I pursued my B.Ed during the academic year 2009-2010 and from there on my life has changed. MCT College has excellent faculties like Dr. Savita Sable, Prof. Yadav and others who not only are good teachers/mentors but they are also instrumental in shaping my career. A special thanks to Dr. Savita Sable - because of her recommendation letter, today I am a Doctoral student in Department of Biological Sciences, University of North Texas, USA. With respect to professional development in the aspect of teaching, I have learned a lot through classroom teaching that was a vital part of our syllabus. Today I’m not only a research student but I also teach students at my university (UNT) from freshman to senior level undergrads. My sincere thanks to MCT College (teaching and non-teaching staff) for making me such a successful student overseas.
