2.One-Day International Workshop on "Puppets with a Purpose: Nurturing Young Minds Through SEL"

MCT’s College of Education & Research, Airoli, in collaboration with Shri Krishna Education & Charitable Trust (SKECT) and Bronx Community College’s Early Childhood Center (BCCECC), New York, USA, organised a one-day International Workshop exploring puppetry as a creative tool for socio-emotional learning (SEL), with a focus on emotional expression, empathy, interpersonal skills, and responsible decision-making.

3. Research-led Workshop on "Transformative Teaching and Learning Based on Sustainable Development: An Action Research Approach"

10th–11th February 2025 | Online (Zoom Platform)

MCT’s College of Education & Research, in collaboration with University of KwaZulu-Natal and The Lord’s Universal College of Education, organised a research-led workshop focusing on transformative teaching and learning through sustainable development and an Action Research Approach.

The workshop focused on pre-service teachers and postgraduates, with emphasis on addressing real-world issues related to pollution, hygiene, and health in large cities.

4.National Webinar on "Socio-Emotional Learning System & Social Responsibilities: A Need of the Time"

21st & 22nd April 2025

The Lord’s Universal College of Education and MCT’s College of Education & Research, Airoli, jointly organised a National Webinar on “Socio-Emotional Learning System & Social Responsibilities: A Need of the Time.” The webinar explored the role of Socio-Emotional Learning (SEL) in developing self-awareness, social awareness, self-management, responsible decision-making, and positive attitudes towards social responsibilities.

The programme focused on value inculcation, Bloom’s Affective Domain, lesson planning, action research, and content creation to sensitise students towards social responsibilities and foster positive socio-emotional behaviour.

5.ICSSR-Sponsored National Seminar on "Ethical Considerations in Using AI in Education: Navigating Challenges and Path Ahead"

21st–22nd February 2025 | Hybrid Mode

MCT’s College of Education & Research, Airoli, Navi Mumbai, through its Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), organised a two-day National Seminar sponsored by the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), Western Regional Centre, Mumbai.

The seminar explored the ethical dimensions of Artificial Intelligence in education, with a focus on bias, privacy, fairness, transparency, teacher–student relationships, curriculum and pedagogy, assessment, inclusivity, and responsible AI adoption.

6.International Conference on "Envisioning Industry 5.0: A Holistic Learning Environment"

14th & 15th June 2024

Organized by MCT’s College of Education & Research, Airoli, Navi Mumbai, in collaboration with Mauritius Institute of Education, Mauritius, and Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education (HBCSE), TIFR, Mumbai, organised an International Conference on "Envisioning Industry 5.0: A Holistic Learning Environment."

The conference provided a platform for academic exchange and discussion on education, technology, human-centred learning, and the evolving landscape of Industry 5.0.
